The only reason that I don't give this place a perfect V is because when they put their ground beef on sale you have to watch it sometimes because they sell frozen meat that has been thawed out so you really have to watch that other than that this place is a great place to shop and the cafe has great food in it I've been there many at times
We had a very negative experience with the New Castle, PA, bakery. (I wasn't impressed with the rest of the store, either; but the bakery "wins" the one star rating.) 2 weeks before my son's birthday, the workers at the bakery told us they'd create an edible cake topper out of a picture. They said to give them 2 days notice. When we brought the picture in, suddenly it's "Oh, we don't do that anymore--it's been 3 months since our machine broke." I asked for the manager, who then insisted that no one in the bakery would've told us that they'd make an edible topper. I pointed to my crying son and said, "does it look like we made the whole thing up?" Of course they couldn't do anything to help us--the first woman I spoke to in the bakery first offered to laminate it for us (how appetizing--and what a lovely mess the cake would be after we peeled the thing off) and, when asked if she knew of another bakery in the area that did make edible cake toppers, suggested we "call around" (ya think?). The manager suggested Amazon. Now, I'd looked at some perfect cake toppers on Amazon, but thought why not use a local business? My mistake. After leaving the store, I immediately went on the Amazon app and ordered one, paying out the proverbial wazoo for overnight shipping--entirely unnecessary had the Shop 'n Save workers simply been accurate when we first spoke to them 2 weeks earlier. Gee, I wonder why people increasingly use the internet rather than brick and mortar establishments...My family will *never* patronize this store again.
The food at the confetti cafe is very cheap and great quality. The bakery staff aren’t very kind. The cashiers and meat staff and kind and helpful. The merchandise is highly priced, but the same quality as Walmart. Overall, it gets four stars.
Nice grocery store. Nice helpful people. Not a big box stores feeling.
Very nice sure. Would be better odour could park in handicapped areas.
