I am very mad I drove all the way out to the New Castle pa Kmart store and I checked the hours online before I left it said open till 10 pm I get there at 9 20 the door was locked but all employees were in there the door said open till 10 pm also I knocked and a guy told me they were closed I said no they were not he argued with me all I had to do was pick up an online order I already paided for he would not help me at all I am so mad it's rediculious they we're not closed they we're just trying to get paid for not working
Employees are rude inattentive and slow when they are actually able to be found. Just what you would expect from Wal-Mart's slow mentally challenged competition. The only thing this one is good for is to keep a small bit of competition for Wal-Mart.
So today I tried to do the right thing and cancel the order this morning. On line it says I have to cancel store pickup items by calling the local store, so I thought ok--I might as well get the item back on the shelf in case someone else wants it. Local store says they can't cancel orders and that I have to do that, which is what I was doing. I was given an 800 number to call to cancel. At 8:30am on Thursday that number says they are closed still, on Dec. 21st. No wonder Kmart is going out of business and I actually liked the stores. That item is now going to sit there for 14 days in a bin at this store until Kmart cancels it. Done with this. The 3 stars are only because I had no issues with the store when I was there.
Seriously, and consistently, the worst shopping experiences ever here. Employees are very rude, they demand ID on any purchase made with a credit card, limes are always long and slow, employees are very rude and lazy. I make every effort to avoid this Kmart, even if it means adding an extra 30 mins of driving to go anywhere else. Unfortunately, they are the only big store in this part of town :( If I could leave negative stars, I would.
Had a good experience. Cashier was efficient and personable. Store was clean and tidy. Nothing to complain about!
So I went to the store the next day and just bought the item off the shelf since it seemed the order was lost, and I now needed 1 other gift item also. Then on my way home later that day, I got the ready for pickup notice in my email.
I placed an on line order for store pickup around 8:30pm on a week night. It took 20 hours to get the pick up notice. Granted it was Dec. 19th.
