My fillings don't match my teeth in color and the quality of work pales in comparison to other dentists. This is the only place in New Castle where low-income people can get dental work done at a reduced rate, and they're doing a great thing to help the community. I'm looking for another engineering job and if it weren't for NCDC, I wouldn't have any way to get my teeth fixed while I'm unemployed. I can't even begin to describe how appreciative I am for this. Unfortunately, good deeds never go unpunished and this means that the staff there often have to deal with customers that act differently than they would if they had to pay with their own money, and this lack of respect towards the staff is sometimes directed back at the patients. If you qualify for the assistance this place is a godsend, but if you're paying cash or have insurance, I recommend going to a place where they treat patients like they have the financial resources to go elsewhere if they aren't satisfied with the quality of work or way the staff treats them.

Horrible!!! Worst experience ever!!

EDIT: Despite the fact that they only cleaned roughly 3 teeth, they charged me for a full cleaning through my insurance. I assume to get out of pocket money for the redo cleaning... currently working with my insurance company to resolve the issue, seeing as an official complaint to the manager as well as higher staff didn't even dignify me with a response. This place is a disaster!!

Not saying Erin shouldn't be upset, if that happens to me, would have been pissed and angry as well, but not right to judge the entire place based off of one employee experience.

Oh Erin just stop. You're going to say not to go here because because of one employee? I mean it's DEFINITELY not good and clearly a bad experience for you as it would have been for others, but it's not fair to condemn the place based on one employee who sounds like she was new and possibly just started. I've been there multiple times, with no issues, Danielle was my dentist . And also dealt with an assistant who did a cleaning, forget her name, but again no issues. Actually I was quite pleased with the way they go about doing be filling, with the novacaine, compared to other dentists iv been to, it was a breeze. Wasnt the greatest experience, but at the same time, definitely NOT a place you shouldn't go to, again, made multiple trips, all were fine experiences. And as far as insurance and getting billed, didn't have problems there either..

Do not go here! All I went for was an xray and cleaning and the dental hygenist "Kyleen" started crying and apologizing saying there was too much blood and she couldn't finish, she didn't even take the time to tilt the chair up or leave the suction in my mouth so as she rambled on, blaming me, my mouth filled over with blood and I had to crawl out of the chair and make my way to a sink to spit out all the stray blood flying out of my face. They say this is normal but I've had cleanings before, like I said she never made it even half way, and there are clear lacerations all over my mouth. Not to mention that while I waited I heard another person coming in for "free repairs to previous damages" that this place has caused, and another person having an already paid bill being sent in to collections. Shady. Don't trust them. Especially Kyleen.
