Look for sales and join the insiders club to get the best deals. If your looking for commercial grade items look else where. If you want something inexpensive that can get the occasional job done HF is your place.
Good place for cheap tools, equipment , & shop supplies. Mostly imported stuff so don't expect top of the line goods. Good selection and they keep the shelves well stocked.
Getting those in between items you need quickly without going to big stores.
